Audi Driver International - Saturday 15th October 2016
The TT Forum has again won the top Communications award at the 2016 Audi Driver International awards ceremony organised by Autometrix - publishers of Audi Driver magazine.
The weekend started with setting up our TT forum stand in the paddock area of Castle Combe race circuit - venue for the Audi Driver International event. This was a good social opportunity to meet up with friends and new members who had come to take part and discuss our cars and the events of the day featuring the track events, Audi UK and all the traders, clubs and forums attending.
This year we organised a discount price for members to enjoy an exclusive track session - an excellent opportunity to test our TT''s full capability at high speed in relative clear track safety. This went down very well with those who took part and there were some big grins when the cars returned with hot brakes and engines.
The gala evening held at the Swindon Hilton, organised by Autometrix, started with a champagne reception provided by Swindon Audi at their gleaming dealer showroom before guests were bussed back to the Hilton for the gala evening and meal.
The event was compered by automotive journalist Elaine Catton and awards presented by the MD of AutoMetrix Publications Ltd, James Tipping, Audi’s head of PR Jon Zammett, Ben Wardle of Shark Performance and Ann Harris who presented the Paul Harris award.
Thanks, to all our members for voting for our TT forum and being such good award winning communicators.
