As the title says this is for a Mk2 brake light switch which as far as I know fits all Mk2's.
This is the updated part 5G0698459 which replaced the original to improve the lag when pulling away with an S-Tronic gearbox (has sometimes been the cause of incorrect diagnosis of a buggered mechatronic unit).
