Insurance racket

Tried to cancel a policy today for a bike I've sold, and guess what? Despite me having paid in full and there being 10 months left on the policy - they wanted to charge me £75 to cancel! The policy was £79.
Their day will come. Eventually this protection racket be blown apart and they'll be sweeping the streets.
Trying very hard not to swear right now!
Insurance companies are only slightly worse than estate agents and that is saying something.
As Kenny Everett used to say - "put 'em in a field and bomb the bastards!"

It differs from insurer to insurer, but the "admin fees" stink. It's just what they think they can get away with.

It's usually better to pay monthly if you think there's a chance you will cancel.
