Thought the entry model was the 1.8, but what are you asking?
TT Roadster 2.0 TFSI STronic Silver
Does the job, no frills needed |

Not 100% correct.
RS still gets 340PS, you can then get a mildly moist version called the plus which has lots of extra as standard and also gets 360ps. Base 20T is 211ps, base TT is 160bhp in the 1.8 Now - R8 Spyder 2012
Then - MK2 2006 V6, 2007 DSG V6, 2008 DSG TTS, 2009 RS, 2010 RS, Now - Q5 2011 Then - MK1 2002, 2004, 2005 qS, 2006 qS 'Reality' is subjective based on the perspective of the beholder. It's an American link - US market TTRS gets 360hp as the standard, not the 340hp Euro version

I thought the base 2.0 TT was now 272bhp, the same as a TTS?
Roadsters rule.
|
|
Nope - it was increased from 200 bhp to 211 as Tosh says. The TTS engine is substantially beefed up internally to take the increased power. 2012 TTRS Plus. S-Tronic. Misano Red.
2011 TTS STronic Coupe. Scuba Blue with RNS-E 3g Sat Nav and AMI 2010 S Line SE in Ibis White, RNS-E satnav with SDS. http://www.ctomkinson.com/ Micro changes in air density my ass! |

That was my thoughts too but I'm sure there was a thread fairly recently where it stated the 2.0l was now 272bhp.
Roadsters rule.

TTS engine has the K04 turbo, TT only has a K03
Now - R8 Spyder 2012
Then - MK2 2006 V6, 2007 DSG V6, 2008 DSG TTS, 2009 RS, 2010 RS, Now - Q5 2011 Then - MK1 2002, 2004, 2005 qS, 2006 qS 'Reality' is subjective based on the perspective of the beholder. Either you're wrong, or you're right but the thread you refer to is wrong (and you should know better )
