My ELSA has refused to install on my new laptop and im getting frustrated trying to sort it out! I need torque settings for the following on a BAM Engine:
Big end cap bolts
Main bearing cap bolts
Front seal bolts
Rear Seal bolts
Crank pulley big single bolt
Clutch cover bolts
RH Engine mount bolts
LH Gearbox Mount bolts
Dog bone mount bolts
Think thats all the important bits but if ive left any out please feel free to include as ill only be asking again later! Apologies for the long list but if anyone with a working ELSA or bentley can help it would be much appreciated as its all stripped and will be ready to go back together tomorrow providing TPS come through with the 77 parts required to install the new crank!
Bump.... anybody? Really need at least the main/big end bearing and front/rear seal torques by tomorrow morning!
i've got a US bentley, but our engine codes are different than yours. we have two 225 codes and two 180 codes, but looks like engine torque numbers are the same.
plus, your terms ^^^ don't match my bentley so is difficult to tell (given my limited knowledge) what you need. my bentley engine chapters have these subcategories. Point me in the right direction and I'll do what I can.
cylinder head service: assembly; head bolts, removing and installing; cylinder head cover removing and installing; intake manifold removng and installing
timing (cam) belt:
timing belt overview, removing, installing
Maybe some of these will help:
Sump info: sump pan to cylinder block: 15Nm; pan to transmission: 45Nm; Oil return line to oil pan: 15Nm.
Bolt to Camshaft sprocket: 65Nm
Bolt to Crankshaft sprocket: 90Nm plus an additional 1/4 turn (90 degree), always replace, use special tool 3009 (counter holder) to loosen/tighten place two washers between sprocket and retainer when intalling retainer
You don't own a TT, you support it.
