well i suppose they sold me it, but anyway...
went to jabba on friday with my 150TT. after a full diagnostic check it was given the all clear and was said to be very well run in - which is nice.
up on the rollers she made a couple over 150 which isn't unusual.
then the modding began !
with my new chip in and hooked up to the lap top Mike began fiddling with a whole load of things while i read some magazines and then hey presto.
four hours of careful mapping, reducing the power back slightly, ironing out any flat spots and i have a car that has surpassed all my expectations.
using cheapy supermarket fuel and no other mods he managed to get 221 BHP and an increible 256 ib/ft torque !!
this is with a max boost of 1.15 bar which i am told with the 150's K03s turbo, is well within limits.
i guess the perormance is now akin to the 225 given the reduced weight, extra torque, 5 speed box etc. but the main thing for me is it now just goes like i always hoped it would.
hopefully i'll get to do some timings this year
