Yes, the Express does need a health warning. I remember when we warned that Brexit would likely lead to the break up of the UK and that all got dismissed as project fear. Now it's being turned around into a Brexit benefit so desperate the Express is to find one.

Edited to remove Barnard Castle which for some reason I thought was in Scottish Borders it's only just North and also I added Scottish Borders, when I collected my camper van from Scottish Borders - I commented about how beautiful, it is, the seller said that people left their shoes on the bridges so their family knew where the jumped from. It's crazy when I was 10 years old, once a month I was allowed to collect a list of chocolate requests from my 5 sisters and cycle to the newsagent and collect the orders of flake, texan, frys etc the prices ranged between 14 and a half pence and 17 pence.. the price has hardly changed at all. The shop was about a mile away... we were quite 'well to do' but obviously didn't eat bags of sweets and each Easter I would get a massive migraine and be sick, as chocolate is essentially poisonous


I loved the Disney Movie WALL-E the whole point was a company 'buy and large' assisted consumers to just consume and not move.... if Brexit stops that future, its worked

Who would have thought Brexit would have a bad effect on Northern Ireland? Oh it was us ... but the Brexiteers said it would be fine and it was just project fear.

Johnson's fault. He told everyone there would be no checks for goods going between Northern Ireland and the UK mainland in the Irish sea and then put a border there which meant .... that's where the border was.

He could have kept the UK in the customs union and there would have been no need for trouble but no - he wanted the hardest of Tory Brexits and so did the DUP.

The DUP were against a border in the Irish Sea as they wanted no border there but wanted Brexit which was a contradiction unless you scrap the Good Friday agreement and put the border to the South. But the UK, EU and USA are guarantors so that wasn't going to happen.

So we have the inevitable consequences of Brexit with friction at the borders and supply shortages - what a surprise.

Meanwhile the DUP have been dog whistling words of battle to their loyalist supporters about the Northern Ireland protocol and we've now had busses set on fire with youths shouting "No protocol!" "No sea border" yet the DUP provide no alternative.

Arlene Foster calls for the chief constable to resign over a six month old Bobby Sands (correction: Bobby Storey) funeral (that's just an excuse as she didn't then) but she should be supporting the police to be compatible with her righteous calls for calm and the rule of law, so the effect is to blame the police and egg on the rioters for her political aims.

This is the sort of thing you get when you don't let sleeping dogs lie.

Remember we have a lot of agitators attending lots of riots to attack the police, it seems to be a hobby for lots of people.

Johnson promised there would be no barriers between England and Northern Ireland but then agreed to a 'Sea border' as part of the Brexit withdrawal agreement. Can't blame the EU, religion or Joe Biden for this one.

You are correct. This has been simmering since Brexit was implemented on 1st January when the withdrawal period came to an end and since we started seeing graffiti scrawled on the dock walls and other propriety in Larne saying No Irish Sea border and threatening violence. The border in the sea is part of the Northern Ireland protocol which is part of the Brexit deal Boris Johnson proposed and agreed.









What would solve the problem is for the UK to re-join the customs union with the EU which would remove the need for a border.

What will solve this is for NI reunification with SI or SI join the UK.

The EU demanded a border because they don't trust SI and think they are all smugglers, Joe Biden was involved just this morning... so don't say not involved.. he is actually Irish, and I have uploaded the photos of him with the most dangerous members of the IRA several times already.

We are not going back into Europe anytime soon what I don't quite understand is the DUP wanted The Prime Minister to trigger article 16 (or whatever) which in not quite sure what she wanted, was it to simply say to the EU. We are not having any borders, if you want one send the EU soldiers into SI and make a wall and border.. which would have happened if we had no deal. Then the EU soldiers would be the people to stop the smugglers.

Most of this inflammatory behavior has come from the cEU.. it is only in the EUs interest that kids are causing a load of civil unrest.

Like I said none of those kids embarrassing themselves with their parents applauding them, have been affected by Brexit. It's just silliness...
