hello to all ,new member and my first tread .i have just bought a 2000 tt 225 on a cat c (its the only way i could afford my dream car) i stripped out the motor just to make sure everything was ok as the car was a non runner it had sustained a heavy front impact,checked that the timing had not slipped and pulled the sump off to check big ends as there was very little oil in the sump (smashed oil filter housing) they looked perfect
but on inspecting the turbo it seems to have a lot of up and down shaft play ,not so much thats its touching the housing but seems to me to be to much any advice would be appreciated
