Hi all,

would like to rattle a few brains please,

looking at changing my air intake pipe, TIP, as I am planning a remap later on the year,, and just wondering what people recommend ?

what are you using ? quality ? value for money ? difference ?

any help in my decision for who to buy one from would be appreciated,

thanks

hopefully have some pics up soon once my new shiny wheels turn up

The SFS pipe

Hope this helps you decide

The new bager5 mk3 also includes the clips so is probably the best bang for the buck and if you get a blue one should arrive quicker I waited two weeks for my SFS one and also had to buy clips for it [smiley=bigcry.gif]

Of the 3 the original 3" tip with he alloy adaptor should give you the most gains, the other two will be a bit less. Creation Motorsport do an original Badger5 copy but the fit not so good and the quality is not as good.

If you want to go old school you can always fit a Forge Silicon TIP which is better than OEM for flows and if your not planning to go more than a stage1 map will be fine.

the fit is absolute garbage ,i had to mill out the adaptor as it was so tight it would not go on and the silicone pipe was badly orientated so the hoses that go into it had to be stretched and pulled tight on their original hoses to fit, really dissapointed me especially when it cost as much as it did

I have a feeling I will be needing a trip to Wak in the neer future too but I don't think I will manage it before the RR.

The 3" TIP can make quite a difference but it will need a map tweak to get the best out of it. Have you gone as far as an FMIC and 3" DP yet?

Thanks for all the replies,

Think I may go for the SFS or badger one, (but not the creations badger one)

And hopefully get that sorted in the next few weeks,

Should get some photos up next week once new wheels are on,

Also, what's the MM evo DV like ? ? Does it recirculate the flow as well, have the spilR one the nw, so I get the flow back and a bit of dump noise as well,, (love a good fishhhh lol)

All my other hoses are Forge, so no problem for me..

Just have to find the 16mm hose joiner. The 20mm that came with the kit was to big to go in the TIP and the reducer elbow..

I will update when the fitting is done..
