i assume the collar is to hold it at a set height? if this comes under the Mot inspection for suspension then yes it will fail. fairly easy to get it tack welded back into place though i would think as it is off the car. errr why is it off the car btw?

I think the collar butts up against the rubber bush and stops lateral movement, but I'm not 100% certain. Its an R32 roll bar and have been offered the set for £60, but that's bugging me. I've also been offered at set at £80, but I'm still waiting on pictures.

Replaced both ARBs on our car as the collars were cracked/missing and it transformed the drive. Don't know how much lateral movement there is with them missing or broken but it is noticable.

Came back as an advisory when my daughter had her 225 MOT'd in March. Got the new front ARB in the garage ready to fit... something else i need to get around to doing! :?
