Previously I had a rear coil spring break so when it came back from the garage they reported that the level sensor arm was broken as well. I damn well know it wasn't broken before it went in as I had checked it.

Also had a CV gaiter fall off after a few days. Their comment was 'yes the cheap / hard gaiters are always falling off'. Well why do you use them at all if they're always falling off!

Now today, after changing the water thermostat valve & alternator, just putting the final parts back together / clipping hoses & cables back in position found the vac' canister top has been previously snapped and glued back together!!

Id start using a different garage if i were you.

Yep, used to use him as he was an Audi trained guy, but independent now so cheaper rates.

Last place wasn't much better as only half the booked in jobs were done. Hence why doing the alternator / clutch pedal / thermostat myself and finding these things.
