The pic is a noble attempt at something a bit different, so props for the effort. It would have worked better if you'd had a more obvious focal point of interest in the background. As it is the viewer's eye gets the idea quickly that the car is the foreground interest but then switches to the background and the eye wanders around wondering where it's supposed to be looking with no obvious feature drawing attention.
Try to find a less busy background with something more obvious as the point of interest e.g. a statue. But you're thinking about it - which is all good. 8)
The store behind you shows only Japanese, that's why I thought the pic was taken in Japan.
Isn't it rules in Quebec that there must be French on the sign as well?
