Hi folks,

Was a bit to enthusiastic when cleaning the car today and have took some of the black paint off the exhaust tips (QS).

Whats the best/correct paint to use (Matt or Satin finnish?) so I can get then back to looking like new?

I'm sure you've done this sort of thing before, but if you haven't, cleanliness is next to godliness when spraying. Clean up the pipe and degrease well using meths or cellulose thinners. Mask off and spray away in a 'medium' temperature. Too hot and the spray will be dry (rough finish), too cold and you will get runs. Build a coat up gradually. Best of luck!
