Notice how much crap people pack and take to airports?

Notice how the poor airline staff have trouble getting it through the side counter and conveyor belts too, especially in winter with those skiers, etc.

If it's any consolation Willie Walsh is in for a rough time at BA. One of his predecessors, Bob Ayling (who was replaced as CEO by Rod Eddington in 2000) was so badly thought of by BA staff he could never take advantage of free staff tickets for himself and his family.

Once aircrew and ground staff got wind of him travelling they made every effort to ensure his luggage was 'lost', stopped for 'security alerts' or simply loaded onto the wrong planes. Things got so bad Ayling was finally reduced to flying with cabin baggage only as he'd frequently find his cases full of turds or rotting food.

Apparently Willie Walsh is now the most hated BA CEO ever and staff have vowed to make his life hell even if he does risk flying as a passenger. Alleged crew tricks include wiping his plate with genitalia, spitting in his food and putting eye drops into drinks with dire consequences for his rear end.

Be prepared for a rushed exit by Mr Walsh... :lol:
