Hi All,

My first post!

So, I have been milling around the forum for a few weeks and I have decided to get my 1st mods done to my 2000 MK1 225. I have had an LED Day Time Running Light conversion.

Honest opinions? I personally love it!

No, I have a friend who is an Audi Master Tech, he did them. Now all I can think is: I want more mods! :wink:

Welcome to the club! That install is a tad different to the ones on here.. Never seen it with the LEDs surrounding the side parts of the headlamp!

The bug has definitely caught.So many nice motors on here! I also had this weekend:

New 2003 Front Grille
Sports Vallance
Led lights
Smoked corners

Trying to decide on the next mods to aim for now. Am thinking engine mods. eek out a few more bhp. Suggestions welcome.

Flash if you see me, Black (and dirty) 225 on Comps with 3 bar grill, Votex front spoiler and TTOC stickers on rear quarterlights.

Weekends only - car is only used to go to Waitrose...

More pics please mate. Ive always wondered if this was possible more like the R8 or A4 look aa their leds go up the sides. More pics would be great.

I thought about this as well but seeing as the Mk1 lamps don't curve around the sides like the newer Audi's I didn't think it would look right. That daytime picture does look good though and it would be intersting to see these in the flesh! I attempted the same look with the grills this weekend but it didn't look right. :?

I know Louis - not well - but he's been out to see me when the car was under warranty. We discovered we shared the same surname and he knew the Audi tech who lives on my road. Small world.

You should head over the the LEEK meets - I attend most months - nice drive and decent crowd.
