Managed to get some Castrol EDGE 5W-30 (1L)for £6.66 at Tesco today in Coatbridge,
is this oil ok as is says on the bottle latest technology for modern VW and Audi engines.

yes mate thats fine, its really good quality oil and its normally about £12 a litre

i got some when it was £9.99 but did see it the other day at £6.66, think i paid £45 for 4litres a few month back when i had an oil change [smiley=bomb.gif]

Pretty sure this oil is about £18 for 4 litres in my local Costco. It's cheaper than the Mobil 1 for sure and that's about £20. Both prices including the VAT
