We had a good old blast around a sunny moor yesterday in 24-26 degrees of heat and finished up at a National Trust House (Nunnington). Here's one of few pics we took of Emma Stothard's work (Mares and Foals) being exhibited in the grounds of Nunnington Hall. She is a willow sculptor. The rest of her current work is being exhibiited at Rievaulx Terrace, Near Helmsley, North Yorkshire. You could need up to an hour to take it all in at the Temples next to Rievaulx Abbey.

It was an excellent day out. We took a picnic and stopped for a while on the countryside drive. Good weather made all the difference...and about time too
