I saw this article: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/essex/8589152.stm on the BBC news web site and was disgusted by the judges decision. It would seem that, not only can a baby expedite your social housing requirements, but also can be used as a "get out of jail card" too.
It strikes me that the woman was of questionable character, by her action at the time of the original crime. But to then go on to conceive some weeks after killing someone, I find very odd, unless there was a good calculated reason of course.
I think if I had just killed someone it would have affected my libido for a lot longer than hers.
