does any body no how to remove the alloy quattro part on the glove box cheers paul

Yep. had it off yesterday. Open the glovebox. Remove the 6 (ish) torx screws from the back of the door. It lifts up at the back and unclips from the front edge. With that off you'll see 3 nuts in clear view (and 2 screws holding the Quattro badge on slightly hidden on the left hand side). Unscrew those 2 screws and the Quattro badge will come off in your hand.
