Just wanted to tell that i had problems with haldex. It didn't work at all (didn't give anything to rear wheels)

So i did these steps in yesterday:

1. Changed haldex oils and filters
2. Runned test run and still haldex was completly dead
3. Took battery negative (-) cable off for about 10 minutes
4. Again test run and it worked!

So haldex was in somekind of safe mode because lack of oil and it needed also be resetted.

Simple - Smart - Solved.

I've heard about the Haldex controller locking up before and not communicating. Another possibility is that sometimes reconnecting the battery by bouncing the contact terminal (so there are multiple on-off events and not one clean power up), can defeat electronic module reset circuits - the processor starts to run the power dwindles, the processor corrupts and locks up, but then the power comes back up before it's gone off properly and the processor stays locked up as long as the power remains.

I also have a non working haldex, I noticed because my front wheels started to sping on WOT in first and second gear (with esp off).
I want to change the haldex oil and filter next week (when my dealer is able to). (Starting with changing the oil/filter because this is the cheapest option to start with).
I also have a intermittend vagcom fault (01155), I hope I can solve it.

Don't have vag-com so don't know if there was any faults registered, but i believe that your fault is also gone after you have changed oils and filter and done that "reset".

I HOPE so! Will change the oil and filter and do a 10min reset next week!
(How have you tested the working of the rear wheels after the oil change/reset?)
