Hi Guys,
Just got my first TT a week ago. Went for the 3.2 DSG coupe 2005, which I vey pleased with so far
and have made good use of the site researching various stuff. Car is into Audi Specialist in York tmrrw
to have air bag warning light reset, think it will be the seat wiring by the looks of things. Also booked it
into the dealer to have coil pack replacement as this hadnt been done.
Will be looking to improve engine breathing/ exhaust and have ecu chipped in the near future, not looking for massive gains
another 20 bhp would be good. VagCheck (tsr performance)seems to be the way ahead, just a long drive south.
So if anyone knows where I can get the same further north, shout up.

Hi Alan, Welcome to the TTF. Wak is your man, but unlikely to get an extra 20 bhp from 3.2 V6.
Hoggy. :D

I thought the same but the guy I spoke with at TSR performance seem to think it was possible to get 30/40  with their
remap as this also ajust the variable valve timing, anyone have any experience of this?

Presume WAK is a member on here, should I PM him or is there an email for him.

thanks Alan

Hi Ian, Yes York.

Airbag warning light couldnt be cleared high resistance. It's on the passenger side, so think I need to try the connection under the seat. Had a quick look and located the smaller yellow connector under the seat but havent been able to
open this yet. :x Any advice would be great, will try again tomorrow to open it. I did disconnect the battery and then shut the boot though so that gave me the run around trying to locate the manual pull release, all in all an intresting day.

Also Indi reported worn wishbone bushes and possible brake fluid leak and corroded brake pipes so bit more reading and searching required. Alan

Quick update. Managed to get the plug apart under the seat this morning and cleaned it, bit of wd40 and back together then off to Audi for replacement coil packs. Car back all done and they even cleared the Air bag warning light free of charge   , great service. Did quote me nearly £300 to do the front wishbone, sounds a bit steep so will probably get the Indie i know to sort that one.
Forum is a great source of Knowledge though and saved the day again. thanks alan :D
