Hi All,

Had the TT checked over a week after purchasing it  by my trustly local VAG specialist European Cars in Hertford.

Apparently all is well bar:

Rear springs not in great nick
Front wishbone mountings worn and split
N/S/F CV boot split

Any idea what I should expect to pay for these? They are due to price them up for me next week.

Thanks

Simon

Rear springs are never in good nick, but unless they are cracked/broken i wouldnt change them unless you just want to get it done before they do break as its quite a common issue, for rear springs supplied and fitted i was quoted around £200 by the tt shop in bedford

Best thing is to have a look on euro car parts website and look at the parts you need, remeber to use the forum discoutn code, then see what the garage your using charge you for parts, they will have a set hourly labour rate so if you can get the parts seperatly for cheeper just take them to them to get them fitted :)
