Are you asking whether or not you can tell whether a map has ever been on the car or if you can tell if there is a map currently on the car?

If a car has been mapped and then the standard map put back on I think you would need something more advanced than VAGCOM to find out.

Um, VAG-COM can tell you if you do basic MAF readings you can calculate rough BHP so you could work out if it's significantly higher BHP than you would expect. But there's no 'remap- YES' haha... But if you've got a friend with a TT have a little blast and comparison even a basic remap will be very noticeable.

Any tuning company should be able to tell you fairly easily... or just Rolling Road it haha
