drove the car to friends house now car immo flashing and starts and cuts out can anyone help please

Hi, Have tried leaving Ign ON for 30 secs before attempting a start.
Are the battery volts low?
Any other fobs/key rings etc on on TT key ring?

Close drivers door, Remove both battery cables, touch them both together + to -, and then reconnect cables to battery.

Hi, Try the battery disconnect again & hold cables together for a good 20 secs. Drivers door closed when you reconnect to battery.
Have you checked the battery volts?

I’ve got jumper van on it and I’ve tried the battery thing for 30secs no joy so must be the cluster

Or the immobiliser coil in the steering column. I’ve heard that’s also a common point of failure.

Yeah, when I changed the Golf outer key, it took me ages to get the immobiliser "pill" out, and it's just go floating around in the new key.
