I've just had my car in for assessment for extended warranty and Audi (confirmed with my own obdeleven) say that there's a fault with the instrument panel temperature sensor fault code B10CF01.

I can't find any information on this on the web anywhere and Audi clearly have no idea either - they want £180 to "investigate the issue" before any charges to actually fix it.

they won't let me on the all in one plan with extended warranty until I've coughed up for this.

anyone any thoughts?

Hi, B10CF01 doesn't appear to be a VAG fault code.

the first letter should be P as for VCDS, isn't so?

Hi, A VAG code is 5 numbers or 4 numbers preceded by a P.
