After being on holiday for 10 days I returned to find the key fob not functioning. I have replaced the batteries but it still won't open the car.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?

Try doing a key reset put key in door and press unlock button while turning the key normally works for me.otherwise make sure the battery is not in upside down.

I just tried that and nothing happened. I opened the car and tried to start the ignition but nothing turned over.

Could it be something to do with the immobiliser?

Just a thought could the car battery be flat :?:

Would that effect the openeing of the car even before I tried to turn the ignition? It deffo a possibiltiy though. I'll give it a jump and check.
