Morning chaps

Went out last night to find that my left side light has gone pop :?
So i thort it would be a good time now, to get some realy good bright replascents ones.
Sounds like LEDs are the way forward
Has any one got any photos of these befor/after shots and cant any one recomend a LED make i should look at. There are a few on Ebay i have found

I bought these and they are excellent, ultra white but have a blue tint to them......Also when my first set didnt arrive they just sent out another set immediately no questions asked so good company to use as well.......

as i took my side lights out and they appeared to be bayonet style fitment not the others in this link, have i popped the wrong bulb out ?

Actually, a lot of people complained about those type in the early days. Something about the heat getting to the unshielded LEDs.

Higher power and UltraLeds claim the complete metal enclosure eliminates any heat probelms. Certainly had no problem with mine. A lot of other people on the forum have these also.

Any recommendations on changing the high beam lights? It seems that the previous owner changed the bulb and instead of using an H7 bulb he put an H3 that is used for the fog

I ahve just found these ones know on ebay. Thay are like almost 3 times more expesive then the ones barton TT put up thow

I bought mine from aceparts but they seem to have a blue tint they are described as xenon white. I think if i changed my main beams they wouldnt look so bad

Just looked on their site and they seem to have phased out my ones and replaced them with superlux ultra white.

It does say the 501 type fits 99.9% of cars but they didn't look like they would fit in the holder for the side light on my TT.

Nice one looks really good! Maybe I just need to try again..... Its just the ones in it at the mo have a nipple type fitting and these 501's are wedge shaped at the bottom? My TT is a 2002 180q none xenon if that makes any difference?

Just to let ppl know I have tried the 501 type LED bulb again and it defo wont fit in the side light holder of my TT! Thinks its back to Ace for some H6W ones!

Forgive my ignorance here, i've just fitted LED sidelights to my TT and they look really good on their own when the sidelights are turned on and the ignition is off. When the ignition is on the other sidelights come on and spoil the effect. Can i simply take the other bulbs out or are there LED lights available for these too?
The LED lights i have fitted are just below the main beam headlight - its the other smaller light id like to stop coming on when i'm using the sidelights
