Hello, I have a 180bhp Mk1 TT, on a cold start the car starts fine, then about 20 second after pulling away for around10 second it feels like misfire, then all back to normal the car drives absolutely fine. This has been happening for about 2 years, i have had the coil pack changed in Jan 2021 and temp sensor in Nov 21,, there are no codes - is there anything it could be. many thanks

I wouldn't worry about it if there's no codes and it's been going on for two years. Did you use a decent scan tool ?

is the idle speed stable?
I will check to see any leaks at the first then check MAF sensor, if it's stable during cold start when removing MAF.
Mine has same issues with no codes at all, but I tested with VCDS and found the MAF is the culprit.

Or check the SAI if you have one, which can also cause the first start unstable issues.
