Hi Guys,

Anyone know a wheel refinisher or bodyshop in the south east?

Tunbridge Wells area would be good! Someone that would paint a thin keyline around the edge of some newly powder coated rims?

Cheers

rich :p

I think there is one in Tunbridge, just can't remember the name

I think wicked wheels do a mobile service only problem is they are booked months in advance :?
Are you thinking of Spit 'n' Polish in Tonbridge?

Used them once and vowed never again. Have they improved? :?

If you take them in without tyres and want the standard silver (not OEM high silver finish) Lepsons will charge you £47 +VAT per wheel, the Audi high silver finish is £53 +VAT per wheel.

Phoned them yesterday :)

Lepsons are very good, spit and polish are OK (same price too).

Also spoke to Ron at Wicked wheels and he does a mobile service, he fills kerbing and sands the wheel and then spray paints the face only and bear in mind he does this outside as he's mobile and he charges £50 +VAT per wheel. Personally, I'd rather have them chemical cleaned & stripped, tested for cracks, turned down in a mill, undercoated and repainted and lacquered in a controlled environment at Lepsons for less money - proper job IMHO!
