Hi guys

On sat I fitted red stuff brake pads all round.
Here just some photos of the job
Sorry the wheels do need a clean lol

Wheel off showing the disc

7 mm key to remove retaining bolts

Calipers off showing old pads

New red stuff pads placed to see if fitting is ok

New pad fitted and caliper put back on

Now for the back pads to be changed

Back caliper off

Old and new pads

New pad fitted

All fitted and cleaned

Front wheels all fitted and cleaned

Over all it took 3 hours to changed and clean I driven over 70 miles on them so far and they have up to yet been very good.
Like other that have fitted them I sure they will be very good, I will up date at the end of the month how they are bedding in

If I can help with any info please let me know

Cheers

Phil :)

You've had a busy weekend Phil! Planning this change myself.

What discs are those and did you change them as a necessary replacement, or as an upgrade? Do they make a difference?

Hi roger

Yes was a very good weekend
As for the discs it was a upgrade, for front and back discs it cost me about £200
They have been really good the holes help with cooling and the groves stop glazing

And they look really good :)

They have been on the car for about 3months now and i must say they have been Well worth the money if your looking to change yours

as hugy said they will still be slightly dusty as they bed in, suspect its the bedding in coating they have, after a few hundred I washed my wheels yesterday, they had a generally paler grey dirt that was so easy to clean off, mainly road dust and dirt . Not the dark hard to get off dirt as on OEM pads. Apparently they get even better with less dust after circa 1000 miles or so.

Will report accordingly but so far very pleased :p

Hi crossj

Thanks I found them on eBay both from different sellers
Both came on Time and was the cheapest on line.

Well pleased with them and how they feel.
Well worth doing

Phil :)
