Hi all. Followed advice, disconnected MAF sensor and went out for a short drive. NO SPLUTTERING! So this points to faulty MAF sensor. From the wak-tt link on another thread it looks like replacing the MAF sensor is a real simple DIY job. Am I right? Also the main point of this question, does driving with the MAF sensor disconnected for any length of time do any damage to anything or could I leave it off till I replace it probably tomorrow (Tuesday)? Any advice greatly appreciated. Cheers. Darren

You can get by till tomorrow.

Just make sure its disconnected and not removed from the housing.

As if its removed, unfiltered air could be sucked in!
