I took out my cat out of my car an now the engine light is on and vag-com is reading that its bad or a sensor is not working, does anyone know how i can fool the ECU into thinking the cat is installed and working properly?

yeah i think you car, i think you can get a spacer which fits in between your 2nd lambda sensor and the pipe, search for it,

in turn this then reads slightly less emmisions making the ecu think the cats there

I do have a flex pipe in place of the cat, i cleared the code last night and i drove all day today and the light did not come on. i will wait to see what happens. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would a few washers around the sensor work?

ive used it before and didnt get any CEL
but that was on a 150 1.8T

Is there a way to determine which sensor to put it on? Before or After the CAT?
