Hi guys anyone got a pic of their car lowered 40 mm on springs mines an x reg so is there much difference in newer models ? Are the springs worth it or shall i just wait and get coilovers ?

Mine on apex 40mm springs. If you can afford coilies get them, if not the apex springs do the job perfectly! :)

H11GWY are your wheels 18 ? Look bigger than mine !

I am guessing the wheels look bigger because the car is lowered and the clearance between the arch is less - hence alloys filling up the arch space making the wheels look bigger. Correct me if I'm wrong please :)

Looking good tho
, wish I went for the 40mm drop instead of the eibach.

Get coilovers if you can. That way you can adjust the height if you want to - like if you change your mind, you start scraping the road/bodywork or you don't get the drop you thought you would.

I went springs/shocks myself, but had no choice (long, boring, not-very-interesting story). I was saving for coilovers when my hand was forced. Go coilies; more options down the road if you do. :)
