It looks great, looks just like a genuine Audi part. If you would have said it was the brand new replacement unit from Audi I would have believed you, it looks better than the oem sat nav IMO.

Yeah, I swapped 2 out for people on here.
But like you say if you only want to spend £500 then i see the attraction.
I must admit i DO prefer the OEM look over the kenwoods/pioneers everyday of the week.

As longs as you are happy.

Phil,
Those pictures of the unit are crap :p you need a camera m8
The unit looks great and I love the fact it looks OEM. That's a massive plus.
For "only" £500 it looks great, will want a closer look Phil on the 9th Aug next meet.

Did you loose any of the DIS integration with the new unit?

(artist info, nav directions, phone lists etc)

I think the main thing which screams CHEAP is that damned visible usb port. I mean seriously, what nuffnuff designer does that these days? Put it behind a slider to hide the damn thing. They could then whack on another 50 bux and people would pay it..

Whilst it's still visible i'm not considering one, but if they ever hide it, I might.

That's a pity :( as I for one would miss the DIS integration (especially for the sat nav and phone)

Hi gizmo68

Sorry,I did mean the likes of sat nav blue tooth tv DVD hard drive built in etc etc.
And for lot lest than the 1000pound units.

But like people say every body to their own, I just want to show what units fit in our great cars for not a lot of money.

Cheers

The newest Dynavin units do indeed integrate with the DIS, you may need to get a different CANBus interface. Connects2 are currently working on a new one for Kenwood so it will give the direction arrows, track info and phone book in the DIS, plus HVAC and parking sensor info on the main head unit display. The capability exists on the headunit, but the CANBus interfaces aren't there yet. I select it's the same for the Dynavin unit.
