Hi Tommy, Does it do it when air con off ? If not could also be freewheel pulley on alternator, some TTs have it.

ye wen aircon is off mate, just went out for a quick spin with my new massive jetex filter on aswell and checked when i came back and it seemed to have dissapeared :? so paranoid about these engines at least i know the turbo is spooling fine and she aint drinking any oil but dont want the belt to come off [smiley=bigcry.gif]

Hi, Belt very rarely breaks, it usually strips the teeth. Same effect, just still looks in place. [smiley=bigcry.gif]

thanks for the advice guys seems to be fine now might just splash out on cambelt kit and water pump for peace of mind
