Since I have fitted my new wheels/tyres I have noticed an increase in vibration on the sterring wheel especially at higher speeds
My previous wheels were standard 17" with 225/45/17
My new wheels are wolfrace with 225/40/18
They came as a package wheels and tyres and already balanced. When I had them fitted I had a 4 wheel alignement done and everything was ok.
I have the correct tyre pressure in aswell
I know the tyres are a lower profile now so may not be as forgiving as the previous one but anyone have any ideas?
on a couple of occassions I have also noticed that when I reverse and have the steering on full lock I can hear a loud squeak/groan !!!
this only happens very occassioonally
I have no spacers (but desperately need them.........and whilst on the subject....was thinking of 20mm on the back and 15mm on the front...........good combo?)
The car is also a 2000 model and now with the lower profile tyres sits too high......any ideas for lowering it..........cant afford the coilover route!!!
cheers guys/gals
