Anybody got a solution? My petrol gauge always 'sticks'. Does not matter whether it's full or half-tank. It will often suddenly read correctly but then later will revert to show incorrect petrol levels. It's as though the float mechanism (I presume there IS one!) is sticking. Anybody else experienced this? Any simple solutions? :?

Not an expert. But this is a symtom similiar to what others have experienced and it was a faulty dashpod.

hi, Try cleaning the fuel senders with isopropryl IPA170 from maplins or the like .
They are locasted under the back seat , If you grab the seat base about 8 inches from the sides and tug it up it should just pop out , you then need to unscrew three big screws on each cover plate to gain access to the senders
this is the tricky part , you have to have a good grip to unscrew the large retaining caps , once they are off the senders just lift out and you can spray the float arms where they contact the centre part .
then to put back is a reversal :wink:
