Hi, I own a 2002 1.8 225. Its in pretty good condition and has about 44,000 miles on the clock.
Recently i have been experiencing a sort of clanging noise that seems to come from the front of the car. It only seems to happen when i am driving slowly round corners or pulling off in first gear/reversing. Its hard to describe the noise but it sounds like it could be a spring in the suspension or something. My mate thinks the fluid for the power stearing could be low.
I am no car expert so i was wondering if anybody has experienced something similar and has an ideas on what this could be. It hasnt affected the performance of the car but is annoying to say the least, esp when you are pulling out of a packed car park!
Cheers
