My 225 coupe has decided that it is going to have a little shit fit when first run after a long sit (say over night) she fires first time sounds all healthy, then sit of a moment she coughs, revs drop, sounds like she's going to stall and then picks herself up again and is then fine...... any ideas?

Try starting with the climate control off, may just be pulling abit more than the abttery has got

it's already off buddy but thanks for the reply

I tihnk I may have fixed it....... I change the spark plugs last night and removed everything on the top of the engine because it was getting in my way annoyingly so.... I think I might of had a little vacume leak that was rectified when I shoved it all back together

ok nope not fixed...... only seems to do it when the weather is HOT and the car is cold... odd [smiley=bomb.gif] :x

Hi, Could be the coolant temp sensor telling ECU the wrong temperature. There are 2 outputs on the 1 sensor.
Worth a go as it's cheap & easy to replace.

Cheers Hoggy...... Will run the ODBII over the car tomorrow and see what happens..... shall see if that fault code appears, I'm half expecting it to.... nice easy fix
