Ok this may be a stupid question but i really need to know. Cos checking service history from previous owner, V belt and Tooth belt was changed along with tensioners at 60k kms.

Is the Tooth belt same as cambelt/timing belt? but i didnt see any water pump change though.

Hi ruzzwan, Yes toothed belt is same as cambelt/timing belt. Always a good idea to replace water pump at same time as labour costs are the same.

Not to mention our water pumps are known to fall apart. If they jam, they can strip the belt, and you are out a few grand on a top engine rebuild.
