The much loved R888's finish last where I would expect them to be.
Much the same as a test Sport Auto done years ago.
Just for info,in another test a while back,the straight Mich cups where a fair bit faster in the dry than the Cup +'s

Hmmmm , No Yokohama Advan Neova AD08's on test. I have driven cars with the Michelins and the Toyo's too but rate these Yokos as a better tyre.

The Ad08's are a fast road tyre that can be used for occasional track use,so they would be a better everyday tyre,but wouldn't be able to set consistent dry lap times,like a true track day tyre.

Agreed AD08 is a fast road tyre but like the Toyo R1R.

Surprised no test of AD048 though as that's a fair comparison.

Surprising how low the R888s came out considering how popular they are.

Are the dunlops and mich more expensive??

In a previous test in 18"the R888's also came last behind Mich,Dunlops,Yoko etc
In another old test the Hankook RSS's done very well, setting the fastest dry lap time on a 911.
0.6 sec faster than the A048's, 0.3 secs quicker than the Mich cups.
Compounds might of changed slightly by now though
