100mph and it lost all power, epc and engine light flashing. Then a puff of smoke from the back of the engine. Starts but struggles. The mechanic seems to think I've fried a piston. Any ideas? Would the badger 5. Tip etc have anything to do with it? Any info would be great guys

Would this have fried anything? The car drove spot on before I started playing with ir

100mph I do hope it was on the track or you could lose your licence as well as a piston ;). May be running lean the with the right kit the badger 5 will max out the injectors that's not an issue if you em starts to wind stuff back but some maps don't.

Not really the tips fault if you giving it the beans befor it's been set up and mapped properly

cos you didn't turn up to your appointment!

I may have found an issue if you had done!....

Have all hoses been checked.

try pulling the maf sensor connector and start it up.
If it starts and is smooth then you may be ok and the engine is fine.

he obviously rang to say he wouldn't be turning up Wak? as if he didnt i would charge him anyway bud for the lost business for that slot.
