Was doing of spot of familiarizing myself with the engine bay. removed the engine cover and there was a loose unconnected wire/connector.
Any ideas what this is for/was for?

It goes on that valve just to the right of your hand N249 valve it has a grey plug on it

Yeah bought the car last week, no lights on the dash etc..
Just discovered this flapping about. I will connect it up and see if it makes any difference.

gulp........ I recall a post about warning lights that didnt work when they were meant to.. involved some mastic (think it was that) having been installed in the dashpod to hide the light :eek:

dont wanna alarm you or anything......

Plugged in and no difference - Least it is where it is meant to be.
