hi all, the mrs has just come in and is complaining of a knocking/flapping sound coming from underneath the car..

just had a lookie and it seems the round clip things that hold the rear-ish under tray have come off.

Anyone know of a part number i can beat the dealers with please??

Are you talking about the plastic tray that is under the engine? If so, it is held on by about a dozen torx screws (T20 or t25) i believe. But, sorry, don't have the part number handy. they should only be a few p each at the dealer. Call them...they should know immediatly what your talking about.

cheers.

sounds like a plan. i'll have a look-see in the morning in the garage to find a nut. will probably last longer too.

Nice one :p

Always a better price from TPS (OEM parts) saved £30+ on the rear wiper motor for my Golf

Is this for those metal disc shaped clips (like flat washers) that are push fit to hold the undertrays on?

Is this the company called Trade Parts Specialists? If so, how do you order parts from them as they seem to be trade only? :?

Don't have a pic but they're about the size of a 2p piece and cross-cut several times in the shape of a star.

ps - are you still working on your indicator mirror project? ;-)

Hey - What a coincidence! Noticed today that undertray was hanging loose and was wondering where to get 2 of these washer things! TPS does seem to be trade only - Can you help harrishome ?

You'll have to send a pic mate, mine are just like a torx but no the size of a 2p more like a 1p so not sure if I'm sure of what is needed.

Just bought some of these from the Stealers. Took us a little while to sort out the order because the P/N is slightly wrong above.

Should be N 907 965 02

21p each and they've changed the design apparently, to make them a little less susceptible to falling off with the slightest hint of corrosion.
