Hi

I am considering buying my first Mk1 TT. I would like one on a 51 or 02 plate, 225bhp, coupe. PLease can anyone let me know if there are any specific things I should look out for or be aware of as I start to look at them?

Check the history to see if its had the cambelt and water pump changed, because 51/02's are just past the time where it should have been done. If they havent its not a major problem, but try and get £500 off the price to compensate for it.

I just picked up a 2002, 52 plate TT on Saturday, and am now booking it in for the above straight away!! 8)

Hello , check the windows drop(bout 10mm) when you open door,and milage display also comes on at same time.Everybody's been really helpfull for all my daft questions,so don't be afraid to ask them.
