19" wheels & tyre pressures?

Ok, so inside my fuel cap it says my 18" RS4s should be 38 psi front and 29 psi rear.

Now I have 19" Oettinger RZs but when I had 235/35/19 goodyear Eagle F1s fitted on weekend, tyre fitter said 39 psi front was too hard for such low profile tyres, so i only inflated fronts to 35 psi

Is this info correct.

What do you guys reckon I should inflate to?

Ive alway run around 35 PSI on 16" 17" 18" and even my 19"

You can go wrong at that pressure.

If you over inflate the tyres they you may get excess wear on the centre of the tyres.

BTW, shame about you taking off your 19s.

Given the recent post on Nexen tyres, maybe you could consider keeping them, and having one set of wheels tyres for winter and another set for summer.

Seems a shame cos those 19s you had were beautiful. Just a shame this didnt come up earlier in the year as I'd have bought 'em off you in a flash had I not already shelled out for my Oettingers 8)
