For anyone with the 2.0 TFSI EA113 Engine with Timing Belt, you may find this video from an Italian mechanic quite interesting. Brilliant find SJP!
First timing belt change on the 8j and I’ve been looking a while. Is it typically Italian to mix up brakes/oil change/ timing belt in one video?

I’m ploughing through it slowly as reading translated text and watching the visuals is tricky.
Love the bit where he replaces the sump drain plug then torques it. The wrench clicks immediately. Either he has the ‘hands of god’ or has overtightened it

Just got to the bit where the engine mount that caused TT Revenge so much grief. I’m thinking of saving it for later

The guy is southern Italian, which is where my wife's family are from and where I have spent over 23 years of summer holidays.

Shame he bypasses the bit of taking the engine mount out which peeps find so difficult; but spends nearly two minutes on the alternator tensioner!
