Been searching the forum but can't find the answer so it's another exhaust thread... Does anyone know if the x6 (2x3) bolt flanges on the 3.2 catalytic convertor... Are the same pcd, spacing (center to center) and orientation as the 180Q? Looks damn close. Guessing the exit to the cat back would be a single 65mm as it looks like the rear/ cat back systems are the same for the 225 and 3.2. If there's anyone in the Northants or Warwickshire area with bits laying about I'd be keen to meet up and get some rubbings of the manifolds flanges.

3.2 catalytic convertor flanges
The V6 Cat section is considerably longer than on the 1.8T quattro.
Because of that the V6 centre section is shorter.
The OEM V6 rear silencer also has a cutout to clear the battery box.
The V6 also has two post-Cat Lambda (the 1.8T only has 1).
I'm sure when I looked, the downpipe to Cat gasket looked very different.

Looks like it'll be jigging a 180Q down pipe and making my own with 225 flanges. I can just whack on a downpipe back 225 system. One last point and I didn't search the forum... Are the OEM exhaust parts dealership only? Usual OEMs don't seem to stock them.
