So I've got this silly code that I can't clear. Have tried to use the search function but nothing shows at all when using the error code number. So hope there is further, specific info that can be found.

These are the codes

And when I try to clear it the regular way an airbag light should be able to get cleared. I get the message underneath it [smiley=bigcry.gif]

Little bit of history. Basically car was out of use for a few years, owner just didn't have time to deal with whatever what was wrong (wasn't much to get it going tbh).

Why is this code so "sticky"!? What have others done to clear it?

I had that before after the battery died. 65535 probably means the eeprom checksum is wrong. Mine was fixed using a special airbag reset tool that plugged into obd port. I ended up getting another module while I waited for the tool but the replacement module also had the error. When the tool arrived I just reset them both and sold the other one.

Looks like this did the trick! I did watch a youtube video showing how the person in there used it but this method didn't work for me [smiley=bigcry.gif]

So what i did
- car off & key out - wait 30 seconds
- car on and plug reset tool back in
- pressed yellow button - let it complete (no change)

- car off & key out - wait 30 seconds
- pressed red button
- upon completion the airbag light went out

:D happy times!
