hiya , i asked my audi dealer about this and he told me they dont have a code for the mk2 :wink: ,mind you ,i dont think he knew what day of the week it was tho :lol:

 

I got a code for my Concert stereo so I'd be very surprised if it'd be any different with yours. I guess you're gonna have to chase the dealer.

Just bought myself a mk2 Audi tt coupe. It's got the bog standard Audi concert CD Player. On looking through the documentation there doesn't appear to be an unlock code. Is this correct or should I be chasing the dealer? )

i believe if its like the sat nav unit, if its original it doesn't need 1 as it locks onto the vin number of that car, its when you come to fit it in another car you need a code.
think i'm right but no doubt someone will be around to confirm or not.
it may well be on the side of the unit itself

Thats correct. The original unit, be it a concert or RNS-E that comes with the car does not need a code in the car it came with but will need a code when installed in a different car.

You need to ring/see local dealer and he will give you the code. Think they just need reg of original car and serial number of the unit. Failing that they will just hook it up to their computer thingy and get the code that way.
